I dont know if yall have checked this out, but at espn.com there is a new daily power ranking system and puts the spurs at #3, do yall think this is accurate? there is a formula they use and it is mostly to do with scoring margin. (points scored by team, points scored by opponents) they argue that regardless of the win-loss record, scoring margin better determines future success. what do yall think?

Interesting....A different approach, but I like it.

Yes, an interesting approach that isn't clouded by bullshit analysis from negative Spurs fans.

Any Spurs fan who doesnt think the Spurs are a top 3 NBA team needs to put down the crackpipe and quit being so damn negative.

hyping the spurs....
Spurs might be a top 3 team in the season, but without being negative, no way they ranks #3 lately. Or all the other teams must be sucking big big time.
Oh wait !

Dallas and Phoenix are ona totally different plane than any other team in the NBA.
It matters not who is 3rd or 30th....no other team stands a chance of getting the promise land.

While I would agree that the Spurs are playing suckee-suckee (especially relative to their standards) of late, this is going a bit far. We have seen many, many teams in the past rule the first half of the season only to struggle down the stretch. All it takes is one injury to either Dal and Pho to dramatically change their outlook, and both teams have players with issues (Nash and Amare for Pho, and Dirk and his ankles for Dal).
Let's not award the championship quite yet. If Dallas and Phoenix can stay healthy and sustain their level of play into March, I'll hop on the bandwagon then.

A year ago today the Pistons were 32-5. Anything can happen. Settle down.

I want to save all these MavFan quotes for the postseason because your homo owner and his team are going down faster than Heath Ledger in a Wyoming ranch house!

i'd like to see how the spurs are ranked, taking into account only the last 15 games. i guarantee it's not 3.

I thinks it's more of a testament to how inconsistent and bad the OTHER teams are and the respect they give the Spurs rather than how "good" we are. Cuz we arent very good right now...just not too many are "gooder" :lol

They did in 2 regular season games...
I'm not surprised a knick fan would bring up regular season.

You mean the asterisk season?
Yeah the season New York could have finally won something in basketball, but couldnt because Ewing sucks balls and was hurt, LJ sucked balls and was hurt, and the Knicks like usual sucked big balls and couldnt win shit. Thats what the asterick should stand for, the Knicks last chance to ever win shit

I'm glad the Knicks didn't win that tainted title.
Being marked as an asterisk team would be too much to bear... :lol
Luckily the Spurs added a couple more to prove the first one wasn't a fluke.
God I'm sick of the stupid trolls.

Especially ones supporting an excuse for a team like the Knicks. If you can't play .500 ball in the Leastern conference then you have no cause to knock "slow, old" teams that are 10 games above in the West.

Yet again couldn't validate them by repeating...
Really? Let's try. . .
God, I'm sick of the stupid trolls.
Actually that made me feel very validated.

Knicks fucking suck, this guy has no room to argue about another team sucking when a team with a huge payroll in the East cant get to 500.
