94-84

Francis almost had triple double 16 pts, 10 rebs and 9 assists.

Hill and the new kid Howard played great as well.

Dallas is no longer undefeated. :elephant

This Orlando team is for real.

I wonder where Adrienne went. This is her time to shine.

I caught most of this game on TV. Dallas couldn't make a basket to save their asses. They were at 30% shooting with a minute left. Stackhouse and Josh Howard were just horrible.

You know, Turkoglu came off the bench and played almost the whole game, and he was stinking up the joint. Grant Hill carried them in the second half.

As long as my Mighty Mighty Mavs beat the spurs? That's all that matters.

Speaking of which...

I just caught the last half of the 4th Q, but Turk "stinking up the joint"? He was their high scorer with 19, on 7-17 shooting, which isn't great but the team only shot 42% for the game.

Heaven forbid, I'm defending Hedo . . .

Shoogar Bear,

I haven't looked at the box score, and the GF has on the Country Music Awards now, so I didn't watch the post game show. What I saw of Turkoglu was badly missing 20 footer after 20 footer. He threw up a couple of shots that he should have passed the ball back inside, especially when Dampier wasn't in the game.

Minn was down 5 to Pooh's Pacers with 50 secs left and now has a shot to win with 10 secs left, down 1.

Magic....Suns are loaded and I expected them to win the Pacific Division, but the Magic are playing better than even I expected.

The Suns are killing the Bulls in Chicago by 23 in the 4th.

Suns win. Rockets are winning. Poor Memphis, wtf is wrong with them??

Jalbre6, you always look at the glass as half empty? First of all, hedo played 32 minutes, hardly "the whole game". And so he missed a couple 20 footers, he hit a key 3 in the 4th and his overall stats were not that shabby (7-17). He's been creating off the dribble, taking it to the rack and FINISHING, playing good D, and shooting 48% in 4 games so far. Why not ditch the hate, he's off your team. He's in a better fit for him and you guys have Barry. As I said before, both parties are happily remarried. Oh, and one more thing...Magic fans are happy with him.

hey taruky....I watched the game and was impressed with his play. Stevie hity him with some nice passes and he hit the shots. When he shot in rhythm, his shot went down, but when he forced one, he was off. Magic and he are a good fit, because he has someone that can actually pass him the ball instead of shoot all the time. :)

I see the post notification feature of the Turk-o-Toolbar is functioning properly.

The key with Hedo on this team is that he's involved in the offense. He's much more relaxed, doesn't seem to be as worried about each F-up. He has much more variety to his offense now, as evidenced by his poor 3-point shooting so far (he's due for one of his torrid 3-point shooting streaks). Look, it doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out Hedo's brain type. I've always thought he would have ultimately been a better player had he started out on a developing team instead of championship contenders, just the way he's made up. I hope this will rejuvenate his career, at 48% shooting and 15ppg so far I'm happy for him.

You can't call Orlando a cinderella team. Grant Hill will screw up his ankle, if nothing else in the All-Star game, and that will be the end of it.

In other words he's a wuss without the mental fortitude to thrive in pressure situations.

Pretty accurate.

Taruky,

OK, so he shot around 40-41% from the floor. He missed more than a coupla 20-footers, he missed eight or nine. Johnny Davis even got pissed off at him after not passing off at the beginning of the third quarter. And the only reason he played 32 minutes (like I said earlier, I didn't see the box score or the recap when I posted last night) was that Mobley got hurt right before halftime.

Since you don't believe my poor shooting synopsis, here's snips from ESPN's play-by-play:

3:19 10-15 Hidayet Turkoglu missed 20 ft Jumper.
2:56 12-15 Hidayet Turkoglu missed 22 ft Jumper.
10:08 26-21 Hidayet Turkoglu missed 26 ft Three Point Jumper.
7:05 45-64 Hidayet Turkoglu missed 24 ft Three Point Jumper.
4:03 53-67 Hidayet Turkoglu missed 18 ft Jumper.
1:31 58-69 Hidayet Turkoglu missed 24 ft Three Point Jumper.
10:25 66-73 Hidayet Turkoglu missed 25 ft Three Point Jumper.
2:16 76-90 Hidayet Turkoglu missed 21 ft Jumper.

One other thing. Taking the ball to the rack isn't an impressive accomplishment and something to brag on. It's something you're expected to do if you're a 6'10 guard, and something you should do more often when your shot isn't falling from outside.
I don't really hate Hedo. But he is a pussy. He was a pussy in Sac-to, he was a pussy in SA, and now he's a pussy in Orlando. You can't polish a turd.

Let's not hit the glass when my man beats me to the rim or anything!

10 rebs and 9 assists.

He is outrebounding every Spurs not named TD. That is pathetic.

What is Francis's rebounding numbers, i gaurantee they arent 8 or 9 wich is what Nesterovic is averaging.

But, ya know that Francis has won ALOT of BIGGGGG Games..

Kori Ellis

Francis is averaging 8.3 rebounds per game. Rasho is averaging 7.7.

Francis is a very good rebounding guard -- averaging 6.2 per game throughout his career.
