...but 2-7 beyond it! Maybe Finley needs to drive to the basket more often. :huh

This guy was on your team all of last year and you still don't know his game? Get with it....

Even in his prime (1999-2003 or so), Fin's Stephen Jackson-esque handles kept him being much of a penetrator. He's always been a way more athletic version of Allen Houston.

I was most impressed with how Finley pulled in all those rebounds, handed out all those assists, blocked all those shots and recorded all those steals.

Amazing job.

maybe finley needs to retire, along with half of the spurs team?

I'm amazed he also only took 12 shots in the 22 minutes he played tonight.

He has been "needing to drive more" from the first game of the year. If he penetrates more and gets more high percentage shots to drop it will make the basket open up more. Just like the Mavs series last year in the Playoffs.

Finley is just another Steve Smith at this point in his career. A guy who can't do anything to help the team win if he isn't knocking down shots, and he doesn't knock down shots most of the time.

Pop will run him into the ground just like he did with Smith.
