I think there might be a little train derailment problem over near your workplace.

If I remember correctly where you said you work...KTSA is reporting a boxcar derailed at Crystal Cold Storage on Profit. Somebody's trapped in the building and Haz Mat teams are on the scene.

It is....it's around the corner from here. There are tons of fire trucks & EMS's over here. The story is on WOAI.com already.

Damn...part of Crystal Cold Storage apparently collapsed. One employee trapped with serious injuries.

I used to pick up loads there all the time. I hope no one I knew got hurt. There are some cool guys over there.

think about it, they are going to hire the person that is willing to get paid the LEAST!

This usually means they have the least experience, but they are allowed to drive the several hundred ton unit at 150 bazillion miles an hour through the neighborhood.

Thats why Ill never ride any other train other than the one a Brackenridge park!

I think they should give you the day off from work!

And yes, run out and give an interview!

I heard on KSAT that one person died already.

Two of my close friends run that company. My friend Tina and her husband Alan. My blood pressure shot up up about a 100 points when they said it hit the office area since that's obviously where they work.
Tina was in a different part of the building. Alan was in the office with a salesman when the train hit. He said the walls started to shake and collapse. He was able to get out, but unfortunately the salesman did not get out and was killed. My prayers are with the salesman's family.

It's a mess around here.....I'm very glad your friends are okay, 2Blonde.

This is a bad few weeks for salespeople, we just lost one in a car accident a couple of weeks ago. :(
