Anyone participate in this? I ran across this news item (http://www.smh.com.au/news/games/fear-and-loathing/2007/01/24/1169594341316.html), and I find it fascinating as I am presently reading "Snow Crash" which was written in 1992 and describes something quite similar (granted that SL probably mimics the metaverse on purpose).
