Player meeting would be an exercise in futility. The reason, the real reason, Spurs are struggling is that too many of the players are expired-usefulness-date. They are old. And no, they would not get better in the playoff because that is in future where the same players are even older. They would play worse.

Pop blew our last championship in Tim Duncan leaded team using Nick the slow last year. That made Tony play too much and miss the layups, playing while injured. Tim played too long in that over time period, exhausted, missed the layups. Sure Manu did foul Dirk and lost for us but the real reason we lost was due to Pop putting players in position to fail.
