i tried to package something on realgm, but it doesnt work unless we get another team or two involved. KG just makes so much money, that we would have to give up half our roster to make the numbers work.

that would be the biggest steal of the century. Nevermind Garnett, I would do Parker for FOye and no. 1 draft pick.

Can't get the visual of KG back-pedalling from Antonio McDyess out of my head.
I'd give up Manu to get him in a heartbeat. Assuming we could keep KG for as long as we keep Timmy.

Manu + Oberto + Finley + Pick
for
KG + Somebody
Hmm. Looks like we're giving up alot. But KG would pretty much be replacing Oberto, so that's fine. Finley and Barry are pretty much the same thing off the bench, so I think we'd get by without Fins. The only major loss in that would be Manu. Manu for KG. Hmmmmm...

Supposedly him and McDyess are good friends off the court...
KG and Tim have done a few commercials together. I think they're alright away from the court. KG just needs that hype to perform on the court. I think he'd have zero problem playing with Timmy. In fact, I bet he would LOVE to come to the Spurs and help win a ring.

yeah they would quickly be like the duncan robinson twintowers, and kg has the fire to make duncan wanna play at a high level all the time.

Maybe better. Big Dave was on the tail end of his career when TD came into town. Right now both Timmy and KG are in the prime of there careers...both are excellent defenders, both can score on anybody. Both are unselfish almost to a fault.
Stick TP in the mix with those two, and you have a hell of a team for the next 5-6 years.

Duncan > Olawakandi
Barry > Wally
TP > Marbury
Our bench >>>> there bench.
Somehow I don't think raising our level of play will be a problem for him. The problem will be him fitting in and finding his role.

Manu, Scolo's rights, Beno, Williams, #1 pick and one or both of the #2 picks.

He makes too much money. I don't think the Spurs would be able to package a deal to get KG.

Who would you trade for Bill Russell in his prime?
Mr. Body
01-26-2007, 10:33 AM
Who would you trade now for enough reanimation juice to ressurect Wilt Chamberlain? How about George Mikan? How many George Mikans would it take to build one Wilt Chamberlain? Would it look like Voltron?
Please answer.
