It needs a hungry aggressive Tim Duncan who looks like he wants the ball every play and does something other than pump fake when he has it. Oh and giving 100% effort on the boards would be nice too. Yah, I know he isn't having a bad game but the "best power forward ever" should be taking games over right now with this team slumping. Everyone is waiting for someone to do it. Duncan has to be the one.

Duncan can't do it alone.

A couple of perimeter players under the age of 50 might help too.

Honestly, this team needs to be taken out back and shot.

and if that happend their motivation to play the game wouldn't any less then it is now

Dunca already has 18 shots, and as I've said before, look how amazing he played against the mavs and we still lost.

our bench is the problem, I'm not too worried for our big 3

Uh is this the same Duncan who had nine blocks last game and a dominating game tonight!

:lol I still think they need a trade. A back up PG and athletic swingman would have come in beneficial in the first three quarters when Parker, Ginobili, and Bowen couldn't hit a shot to save their lives.

To be fair, this thread was started before we beat the Lakers...

And I think the Spurs could have done bettter. They still had something in reserve for that game. Look at the minutes for Tim, then see how long Lamar and Kobe played.

i still think this team needs that consistent SCORER. someone who can turn it on at any time to get us out of these 30% fg games and 4-5 minute shooting droughts.

That's right. Yes, great win. But let's not get carried away. One great win does not erase the flaws of this roster - which is Pop's folly.

So are you telling me that Duncan's last game is his usual game? No, Tim needs to be more aggressive with the ball and without it every game. He has shown flashes lately but I want to see it every play again. Its like the team thinks we won the title last year the way they just sleep through half the games.

we're a good team that can GET IT Done when we execute, but still, we should take the opportunity to pick up the slack, with yeah, an an athletic swingman, or back up PG to shoulder the offensive load for the bench. The geezers just can't handle it, they're overextending themselves already.

Get Eddie House, he's a scorer and that's pretty much all he does! He's a poor mans Ben Gordon.

this team is capable as long as they believe in themselves.

This team is capable if we get Finley 20 shots off the bench :rolleyes and our opponent shoots 58% free throws. Still don't see that happening against Dallas, but hey, maybe we can at least count on making it out of the first round now.

I hope finleys confidence goes way up so he can knockdown more shots from the outside.

:lol I just realized why we shot 92% for FT's. Duncan only attempted 2.

Finley's been feeling it for the past two or three games now. He's been hitting that midrange fadaway for a couple games now. Hopefully tonight's game gets his 3 point game going...:tu

Too bad Finley starts playing well right around the time Barry disappears. :(

Without a trade, teams like Fakers sure exceeds the SPURS. SPURS in great need of speed, strength and rebounding.
