He asked for $10 to get himself lunch at Quizno's, and she bitchslapped him and told him to get a job.

With a 10-day contract, after he pays her the 90% tribute, and the monthly lease for his testicles, he should have just enough left for a sandwich and a drink.

Maybe at subway, but not at Quiznos. :lol

Did they hire him to actually play ball, or just to model the new line of jerseys?

I don't know why they're screwing around with these retread vets hoping they'll salvage their year. They'd be better off auditioning a guy lke Von Wafer who is shooting lights out from the arc this season--of course that's what they did with Luke Jackson, but Wafer doesn't have bad knees.

I hope it works out for Doug, he was one of my favs.

Doug was one of the most popular players in the lockerroom when he played for Kings. A true standup guy, everybody's friend. True grit and hustle every second he was on the floor.

In the beginning of the 2004-2005 season, Doug was the only player who paid attention to defense on the floor. When he left, so did ALL semblence of defensive play. It's bad now, but eek it was much worse back then.

Hope the Clippers can utilize him.

He looked pretty good out there, same old fast-paced Doug... him and Mobley were re-united.. he was happy as if he were on that team forever. :wtf He would do those damn hand signals to his wife every five minutes.. she screwed his mind up big time.
