The would-be savior of the franchise (http://www.spurstalk.com/forums/showthread.php?t=44986&highlight=damir+markota). The 'Dirk Stopper'. The 'Long 3'.

Currently averaging 1.5 pts per game in Milwaukee.

:lol

The Spurs drafted a Long Small Forward ... but then traded him within the hour.

Classic.

That was funny when we were all trying to get excited like the Spurs FO had found another diamond in the rough.

Then 30 minutes later he was traded. :lol

The Bakersfield Jam acquired veteran guard/forward Dion Glover (6-5, 225) to fill the roster spot vacated when Tamar Slay was waived last week due to injury. The 20th overall pick in 1999 NBA Draft by Atlanta, Glover played in 294 NBA games with the Hawks, Toronto Raptors, San Antonio Spurs and Houston Rockets, averaging 20.9 minutes, 8.2 points and 3.1 rebounds. His most recent action was with Champville in Lebanon.

I'd be very happy if they got another Buck, Ersan Ilyasova. He's gonna be a good, possibly great player in a few years.

He's the one with discrepancies about his birthdate, right?

Heart problems

In March 2001 Paspalj suffered a serious heart attack while playing recreational football in Athens, and was hospitalised for several weeks. He suffered a second heart attack in July 2001, but battled to regain his health.

In the fall of 2005, during a discussion on RTS television regarding coronary issues, he stated that 2 heart attacks weren't enough to force him into quiting smoking or into substantially changing his lifestyle.

Paspalj the businessman

Paspalj also decided to try his hand at business by investing heavily in the ambitious Aqua Park project in New Belgrade's Blok 44. The construction started in fall 2005 and the project is still ongoing at a huge site near Sava river.

Initial projection of a summer 2006 opening turned out to be too optimistic, so, according to Paspalj, the new target for grand opening is the summer of 2007.

Nijmegen contracteert NBA-speler Carrawell
Auteur : Alex Bosmans . 19 augustus 2006 11:00 . 7 Reacties

De Nijmeegse basketballclub Matrixx Magixx heeft de Amerikaan Chris Carrawell binnen de gelederen. De ex-NBA-speler van de San Antonio Spurs is afkomstig van Duke University.

I've always wanted to post in Dutch, though I don't personally speak the language.

Anyway, there was a cool looking chart about him here (http://www.dacray.nl/febstats/playergraphshell.asp?sz=0607&playerid=08_Carrawell_Chris&playername=carrawell_chris)

To write for Chris Carrawell's auto:

The Matrixx Magixx Basketball BV.

I don't know anything about all of that. I thought he was 19 or 20. I just know he impressed me in the World Championships, playing for Turkey after Turkoglu and Okur punked out.

He's going to be a way better player than Hedo I think, when it's all said and done, but Okur is probably out of his reach.
