The Spurs season win rate by month:

Nov 56 - 26

Dec 66 - 16

Jan 46 -36

==========

Nov - Jan 56 - 26

To finish 60 - 22, the Spurs must from now on go 28 - 7.

iow, to get 60 wins, the Spurs can only lose in Feb+Mar+Apr as many as they lost in Jan alone.

With their sucky bigs and sucky bench and sucky defense, this season, expected to be an "odd year" Spurs Title, is turning out to be oddly bad.

Only 2 L difference for Spurs, Rockets, Jazz. The Spurs are lucky that Boozer and Yao are hurt, which might allow the Spurs to finish above 6th in the WC.

we don't need to win 60 games. We don't even need to win 50 games. Let's get back to form for the playoffs, that's what we need.

This is starting to remind of the spurs of a few years back, they always played much better after the all star break, and yes even 28-7 was not an uncommon thing.

don't worry about the seedings, remember your lowly opponents from back in '99? anyway, HCA is overrated when it comes to the spurs/mavs games. as for the other teams, as long as you stay ahead of the lakers and maybe the suns, spurs will be fine as far as home court

YUp and we don't need to win 30 games as well :rolleyes

I agree with those who saying that the hopes for a title year are slim.
Tim stared to play better but spurs still are losing games. They do realize that they play bad at the moment but are unable to change that and that is pretty sad considerating how I love those guys.

That's the scary thing. All the Spurs know what's wrong, but they won't fix it.

Defense and RBs are acts of will and desire, not of talent or magical trades or magical NBDL players getting PT.

Yesterday's loss as well as a lot of our losses this season had a lot to do with Pop, also. His 3rd quarter subsitution patterns continue to haunt the Spurs in the 4th quarter. At one point he had a lineup of Parker, Barry, Oberto, Horry, and Bowen out there all of whom (minus Parker) had made all of 2 FG's combined the entire game. You just can't have that lineup when you're down 11. Pop also waited too long to put Duncan and later Ginobili back in.

And why not try out E. Williams? If you're willing to try out Jacque Vaughn, you can try Butler or Williams as well. :rolleyes
