religious right riled already (http://www.cnn.com/2004/ALLPOLITICS/11/11/bush.cabinet/index.html)

(CNN) -- An anti-abortion group Thursday accused President Bush of ignoring his anti-abortion principles in nominating White House counsel Alberto Gonzales for the post of attorney general.

"As a Texas Supreme Court justice, Gonzales' rulings implied he does not view abortion as a heinous crime," said Judie Brown, president of the American Life League, in a written statement.

But isn't that America wants is to ban abortion?
Doesn't Bush have a mandate to change the law?
This is a moral issue that conservatives demanded by voicing their desires at the voting booth.
How dare Bush stab them in the back. (As if they didn't know he would).

Damn flip-flopper!!!!!!!

The first of many disappointments for the religious right. They really think Bush is going to push their agenda. Ain't happening.

this is good, bc that was one of the issues i had with bush. i am pro-choice...to a certain extent. i think you can have an abortion for the 1st trimester but after that you may as well have the kid and give it up for adoption.
