Wow, great coaching by D'Asani.

"Let's go."

"C'mon, let's go."

"C'mon, we gotta go."

I was expecting him to say "it's not whether you win or lose, it's how you play the game"

I hate that I have to get up early tommorow. Damn it! Anyways, looks like the makings of a good game. Wish I could finish it. Oh well...

If you win, congrats. You're running with the Suns, but still playing a smart gameplan.

Hope the Suns finally pull one out. They should. They have no reason not to, other than the Spurs just beating them. Thus far, San Antonio's played better on both ends, but it's still just a three-point lead for San Antonio.

Anyways, I'm rambling and saying nothing that's new to any whom have watched.

Again, congrats if you win, "in yo' face" if you don't :)

I'm not being a bitch, but Duncan can't claim a clear-out when he slaps down on Amare.

With Amare and Duncan both surprised at that Bavetta foul call, it just looked like the November game all over again where Amare fouled out with like 15 minutes of game time.

Tim might not be shooting well, but his four monstrous blocks on Stoudemire and Marion have had a profound effect. 2 years ago, Stoudemire would have leapt high enough to avoid a Duncan block, but he just doesn't have that same lift.

I complained like hours ago at the 10 min. mark in the second - you've just brought it up on every page. I don't know how me upset about Amare's foul is any different than you complaining about the Elson block.

Duncan earned each of those fouls and each of those blocks. When he tried to go Dirk and slap down, he got whistled (just how Amare got his first), but when he was going up top for the blocks, it was clean.

Marion can't guard TP. He'd pick up fouls and have to work too hard defensively which takes him out of games easily. He's one of the streakiest players in the game, and if you make him work defensively he isn't as explosive in the 2nd half.

Absolute bullshit.

Marion always picks up the defensive assignments on point guards that Nash has trouble defending, and he usually does a fantastic job of preventing that point guard from going off.

Marion isn't streaky at all, and I've never seen his defensive effort affect his offensive effort.

Diaw was the one who played well in the winter game against SA last year. I don't know why he hasn't shown up. It's like the Suns are so jittery out there with the Diaw travels, that Nash "And-1 Mixtape" move, Marion rushing his shots, Amare tried to go straight up and get blocked by Duncan... it's like they're 8th graders playing the high school state champs.

Well this usually happens when these two teams play. Nash scores about 20 on us, and Parker scores 20 himself......thus Parker cancels out Nash and tilts the favor to the Spurs ;)

Marion isn't streaky at all, and I've never seen his defensive effort affect his offensive effort.

He wouldn't be guarding just any PG in the NBA... TP is going to the all star game for one reason - he's a fast, quick, finishing mofo. He'd blow by Marion.

Marion is streaky. He either goes off big or disappears, and it usually depends on how he starts. I'm sure he's defended PG in the past, but this isn't the same.

Also, just because you disagree doesn't mean you have to put "Absolute Bullshit". Show some couth and realize your opinion isn't fact.

Ate every food in France and hung out in the Riviera in anticipation of his huge contract he would sign with the Suns... haha

Amare32, I think that this "they haven't beat the elite yet" is probably in the back of their minds and they're trying to force things too much or pause on open jumpers (except James Jones - he seemed to pull the trigger confidently).

Suns are lucky they were active on the boards and forced about as many TO's as they gave up.

Amare has been playing like shit the past few games... I don't know if he's out of rhythm or hitting an endurance skid because of last year's absence. About 2 weeks ago, he was hitting the boards hard and making quick moves around the basket. I expected a lot more out of him today with the amount of rest they got, but he seems to be lazily settling for jumpers when he doesn't get the quck feeds from Nash.

Keep mind he has not played this much in 2 years. I think is just a rough patch he is hitting. You try coming back from 2 knee surgeries and get used to playing 82 games plus his backup Thomas is also out.

Besides the push-up jab (c'mon that was a regular season game 2 years ago...), I've said that Amare needs to develop a Duncan game of midrange jumpers and intelligent use of the backboard.

Lesson: never try to show up the Spurs. Otherwise you end up with microfracture surgery or assraping a chick in Colorado.
