Is JD Lewis Rick Barnes' nephew or something? I can't understand why he's on this team.

Bob Huggins is a tough bastard who always has his teams playing smash mouth basketball. If K-State doesn't make the tourney this year they'll be there next year.

Great win for K-State. Amazing 3 pt shooting got that win today - they deserved it with that kind of clutch shooting.

It looked like Barnes went to the zone to shut off Hoskins, who has been the Cats' best player this year. For the most part, that was successful. He was probably banking on the outside shooting being about what it has been all year. But Harris is streaky and he caught fire and the Horns were a little slow rotating (not uncommon with so many frosh on the floor) to Cartier, who will hit most open looks.
Hopefully Durant defies the odds and returns to school next year. It would really be something to see him and Beasley go at it in Manhattan next year.

Cartier has been shooting the ball really well, but Hoskins has been putting the team on his back since game 1.
Until today, he was even with Cartier in points, averaged more boards, more steals, more assists, and was shooting a higher percentage from the field and the free throw line (and he gets to the line twice as much).
On top of that, despite being only 6'5, he gives the Cats their only real low post scoring threat.
Nitpicking of course, I love 'em both.

The Big 12 Tourney is in OKC this year and at the not-yet-finished Sprint Center in Kansas City next.

It really should be in KC every year (however, not at the expense of football being in a south city every year).

I say rotate Dallas and KC every year for both.
