VY headed to Pro Bowl

MIAMI — Titans rookie quarterback Vince Young is going to the Pro Bowl.
Young, the NFL’s offensive rookie of the year, will replace Chargers quarterback Phillip Rivers on the AFC roster. An announcement by the league is expected today.

Young was not among the first two alternates but other quarterbacks declined an invitation or are injured.

Indianapolis’ Peyton Manning and Cincinnati’s Carson Palmer are also scheduled to play in the Feb. 11 game in Honolulu.

it's a stupid argument anyway. he backed into it after everyone else expressed disintrest. why would anyone give a shit if one of the most exciting players in the nfl gets to play in the pro-bowl. the last thing the nfl wants is high-ratings. :rolleyes

I can't believe Matt Leinart didn't make the Pro Bowl - what an injustice!! He was one of the best in the league at fumbling and courageously leading his team to defeat. What a black cloud the NFL has cast on itself.

^Good for Vince, why shouldn't he go if Brady doesn't want to be there? One thing is certain, VY is one of the most dynamic players in the NFL and a joy to watch on the football field. Hell, the only reason I'll be watching the Pro Bowl is because he's playing.
