Haven't seen a thread yet on this guy, so what do y'all think?
Is he telling the truth?
Does Tressel have some skeletons in his closet?
Why did a smart guy like Robert Smith decided to pipe up on this?
Or is this just another ploy to keep his name in the spotlight?
Personally, I think that it's half truth, and half bullshit. Major football powerhouses aren't squeaky clean, but this smells funny. Just too over-the-top, asking for someone to blow the whistle. I'm sure boosters slip star players cash, especially when they know the guy's in dire financial straits. But hundreds are a little easier to hide than thousands. And fake jobs are everywhere. I remember the rumors in Austin when I was at UT that James Brown was paid $30 an hour to play video games in the office at a car wash. What do y'all think?
