I do not even know how in the hell they figure RPI out, and I could care less.

The Aggies will be a 2 seed and that is all that matters.

BTW, has a team ever gone from a 12 seed to a 2 seed in one year?

I think not.

thats my point, its not a big deal. florida is 13 right now and they would, 100%, be a #1 seed. A&M would be a #2 even though they are 11....its stupid really. just a loose seeding determinant, imo.

How about from a 2 seed to a 12 seed? Think Zona.

Besides, RPI doesn't mean anything and nobody uses it or cares, right jgw?

well, they probably shouldn't. i'll admit the tool has some uses, but its vastly overrated and, as you can see, meaningless for some of the (what will be) higher seeded teams.

RPI is only used so that they can make quick decisions among the remaining at-large bids on selection Sunday... Lunardi uses adjusted scoring margin and that shows where A&M and Florida truly rank among all this bullshit RPI talk.
