:dramaqueeHopefully HellboyII turns out good. Hopefully the same director comes back. His name isn't coming to me, but I'm almost certain someone will correct me.

I'm afraid of Indiana Jones IV. That'll be interesting. Is Spielberg doing that one?

The rest I could care less. Especially Harry Potter. Thank heavens the whole Lord of the Ring crap is done.

i think the hellboy director is back - cartoon network had a hellboy cartoon feature that was entertaining, and he did some work on it. the amazing screw on head is also awesome and out on dvd now, from the creator of hellboy:

Actually I just read that Harrison Ford, Sean Connery, and Natalie Portman are all supposed to be in it. However, filming won't start until June 2007.

For most of those the original did well enough for a studio to think there's money to be made off a sequel, but was the world really clamorning for more Alien vs. Predator or Resident Evil?

I've been a little wary of the Indiana Jones sequel since it's been talked about for so damn long and nothing seemed to be moving, but if Ford and Connery are on board it should be alright. By the time you reach those guys' age I think they'd know a bad script when they see it.

However, on February 25, 2006, Douglas Mirabello, a personal assistant to Rick Berman, made an extensive posting at the Something Awful forums in which he denied that production on The Beginning was going forward, and claimed that Star Trek was dead for the time being. "The franchise needs a totally new creative team, some time off, and a cool new approach," he said.

Thoughts like this are what led to the raping of Battlestar Galactica.

Whoops. Forgot about that. Hopefully Connery is smart enough to be thinking about his legacy. Nobody wants to go out like Raul Julia.

If I remember correctly they liscensed Claire Redfield and another character from the franchise, but it wasn't Leon or Chris. I just hate how with video game movies, they are given a good storyline to follow and they decide to make something completely different(see, every Uwe Boll movie ever made, what a fucking moron). I mean an entire office building underground complete with quarters for workers, and a fucking train?

Also Alien vs. Predator could be good, if they don't kill off 2/3 of the Predators in one fight scene.

Uwe Boll is the worst director in the history of mankind. I think it was Alone In The Dark where the dead girl started to get up before the scene faded out. Good stuff!

Then again, it's not like the studios have been clamoring for Mr. Flockhart or Mr. Connery as of late. What was Flockhart's last big role, K-19 (2002), which lost something like $65 million?
