Played at a course here in Corona, California.

check out the tee and landing area.

You begin playing your way up the mountain on the 1st hole, although much of the elevation change takes place between holes, and it is more up and down. But beginning on #10, you play right up the mountain, until the 18th, which is the highest tee box in Southern California! 20 stories high! I took a few pics with my cell phone (moron cam), and they came out ok. I bombed my drive, and it has to be the longest hangtime one of my tee shots has ever achieved. At least 10 seconds or more. My tee shot ended up just over the bunker on the left, (even with the edge of the lake), leaving me about 50 yards.

Pebble Beach - By far the most entertaining and enjoyable course I've ever played.

Briggs Ranch - Mainly because they treat you like royalty.

Arrowhead (Denver) - Just a unique course that offers forgiving fairways thanks to the giant freaking rocks sticking out all over the place.

Quail Hollow (Boise) - Has several holes that look similar to Phil's photo above.

there are a lot of great courses, almost impossible to pick one. but if i had to...it would be:

http://www.thebridgesrsf.com/

unreal course, but its private. thankfully, my ex's dad was a member. Del Mar CC isn't bad either. some of you may have seen the "Battle at the Bridges?" this is the new site for what was "Battle at the BigHorn." i believe this is Phil Mickelson's new home course...if i am not mistaken.

unfortunately, i'll never be able to play there again...i can't imagine.

Pinehurst No. 2

Played it back in '99. Just immaculate, had a caddy on my bag...not that it helped me much. Played the tips just to say I did.

Hole above is the par 3 17th....had a semi-respectable round going...then made a snowman on it.

i played at crown colony in lufkin in high school, always in the top 10 toughest in texas:

beautiful course, and there is a stuffed man on one of the holes. his wife had him forever looking out on the golf course. it was pretty creepy, she changes his clothes every day.

I don't think there's really a fairway in Tlong's pics. Looks like a par 3. A bitch of a par 3 too.

I've only played locally, so the best course I've played on has to be Canyon Springs. I liked it the best.

Pebble Beach is far and away the greatest course I have played. Next, Spyglass.

tlong always hits irons, as he sucks with his woods.

I think he hit an iron down to the beach, then wedged it up onto the green....that is the way pussies do it there, obviously.

:lol

Fuck you Jim! Actually I'm hitting a rescue club in that pick. My buddy is hitting an iron. That is #17 at the Ocean Course at Cabo del Sol. I think it's about a 190 yard par-3. It is without a doubt the most beautiful course I've ever played. Jack Nicklaus says it has the finest 4 finishing holes in the world. Number 2 for me would be Sahalee outside of Seattle. Number 3 would be Pumpkin Ridge here.

Yes I have, it is nice too, but does not compare to Pebble.

i've played pebble and spyglass...The Bridges rules those courses...seriously. on many of the holes, and this is just a perk, they have all kinds of fruit trees and you can just walk to the edge of the fairway, green, tee box and eat oranges, grapefruit, strawberries...i can't remember the rest. but its pretty sweet.

I haven't played it yet, but Bandon Dunes on the central Oregon coast is one of the best courses in the world as well.
