It's players from the NFL, mostly 3rd stringers trying to get experience to someday start. Scrubs playing football. There's always a few good players, in the past some have led teams to Super Bowl victories. Kurt Warner played NFL Europe to name one...

Its sad when you cant wait for the combine, but my unmatched love for football makes me watch every thing that I can, sigh.... I agree with you guys, NBA is great and all, but nothing compares to the feeling of the NFL season starting up.

When you turn on the Xbox. :downspin:

Eh beating the Pats 148-7 on All Madden gets boring after a while. They need to make the game more challenging. Maybe I should start playing with the Texans just to make it interesting.

Not soon enough for me.

But I have Daytona, Spring training and the NFL Draft to help me get through.

Actually, yes... pitching (particularly the bulllpen) could very well be stronger than hitting this season... stay tuned...

Damn, I wish. I can't imagine it would be affordable at this point in time. But I do plan to get up to Ameriquest for at least a weekend's worth of games, maybe we can get a group together. I bet others would be up for it. We talked about it last season but I spent too long in Bumfuck, NJ.

I couldn't. If I recall, I had my nephew and was gonna be in either PA or somewhere else in NJ at the time. Actually, that might have been the time of my failed trip to NYC :depressed

why is my valued thread turning into a shitty mlb thread? subtract JB and Mel and its gold.

Melmart1
02-16-2007, 08:31 PM
"your" thread is only valued when you have no part of it. Much like crime in the suburbs decreases property values, NorCal's presence in a thread brings down it's inherent message board value.
