Anyone here follow texas high school basketball? Playoffs were coming up and I was wondering what are your thoughts about region II? Who will win it all 3a/4a/5a?

SA Lanier and SA Houston are going to make some noise in 4A. Bank it. There were some pretty damn good races in San Antonio this season.

San Antonio Houston isn't even ranked top 25. I think it will be between South Oak Cliff, Dunbar, and Killeen. Killeen is really good and might surprise alot of people, they have a great backcourt and a decent 6ft 9 post. Not to mention they just finished district 10-0.

The Dallas schools are cold-blooded. same as in football. Both 5a crowns went to Southlake and Cedar Hill.

^ Yea, inner city black kids tend to know how to play basketball. That said, I don't think a dallas school will win 5a though. Duncanville was undefeated last time i checked at like 30-0 and are the favorites to win it all.

I know where Carrol is. I was responding to what you said about Dallas schools being cold blooded.

Anyone have any thoughts on 3a? Ranchview and Roosevelt look like they could be the teams to beat again this year. Also Kennedale looks really strong and so does Abaline Wylie, who by the way play eachother in a preview game this saturday. Don't count out Argyle either.
