I wouldn't put a dime on Arnold or Powell. One needs a Constitutional amendment to be able to run, and IIRC Powell won't run because of his wife's fragile mental condition. I think she suffers from severe depression.

Guliani and Jeb Bush are the natural choices for the right. Hillary Clinton and Obama choices for the left.

Wait until Obama has more time in the Senate before he attempts to run as a VP.

Hillary isn't the way to appeal to the more conservative Democrats.

The more conservative members here probably know more about this than me, but would Guliani really have enough support to run on the GOP ticket? I highly doubt it.

Here is my Spin
I say VP Cheney will resign for health reasons and President Bush will appoint Condoleezza Rice.

Think about it

Noway Jeb gets the nod and Giuliani seems a good choice but his "morals" are questionable regarding his divorce unless the conservatives are willing to over look that.

I know you have to be Born in the United States to run for President.

Is is the same for VP?

Bill Clinton 200-1

George W Bush 300-1

They actually have odds on these two??? :rolleyes

Newsflash...the true odds are infinity-0. Neither one is allowed to run (see XXII Amendment). And I don't see it being repealed anytime soon.

Yes.

...no person constitutionally ineligible to the office of President shall be eligible to that of Vice-President of the United States.

Jeb would lose. I cant see a third Bush getting elected right away. He wont run this time around. Check back in 8-12 years though.

However, if his brother does some amazing stuff, and has a approval around the 90s again like he did in 01, Jeb could feed off that and easily win.

As far as the divorce, Kerrys wasnt ever brought up.

Good call though.
