I can't wait to see old blue lips back in sa...

Hopefully we can posterize him early for a few dunks. It doubt it will remove all the pain I had to endure watching that guy lug up the floor for 3 years, but it would be a nice start.

GrandeDavid

Tonight's a win. No more screwing off games in San Antonio. That's more than enough homecourt losing for an entire season in the Tim Duncan era. Tonight the Spurs will win, although they won't beat the spread.

phyzik
02-26-2007, 07:40 PM
Whats the over/under on how many dunks Rasho does?

whatever it is I'll take the under.

GrandeDavid
02-26-2007, 07:43 PM
The over under is -1. He's more likely to dunk on the wrong rim.

Joe Alexander: Spurs vs. Raptors
PREGAME

Rasho Nesterovic probably never qualified as a fan favorite during his seasons with the Spurs. His shy demeanor in public and lack of expressiveness on the court didn't attract much attention.

But he was well liked among the Spurs.

Former teammates, coaches, ballboys and others in the Spurs organization as well as members of the media practically stood in line to greet Nesterovic before Monday's game against the Raptors at the AT&T Center.

The veteran 7-foot center is averaging 5.9 points and 4.6 rebounds per game. More importantly, he gives the Raptors an experienced inside defender. The Raptors, by the way, have been rolling since Christmas and have won 18 of their last 21 games.

Stop sitting there and acting like anyone who isn't a complete believer is out of their minds, because winning against the NBA's lesser teams is all fine and dandy but a teams record against teams over 500 is far more important in determining just how good they are.

You do this shit all the time, just STOP. People are right to be critical of the Spurs and regardless of their play as of late they have a long way to go before they make most people here believe they are able to overcome Dallas.

Stop being a dumbass Tpark. One game isn't going to erase an entire season of losses to teams over 500.

The funny thing is TPark himself has done many times what he know crititicizes, i.e., putting down people who cheer Spurs Ws against crappy teams.

Ford decided to show up mid third quarter. Tony played good on the ball defense but Ford was pretty non effective until the game was out of reach.

Tim was mostly guarded by Rasho in the first half. Tim had his way with him.

For the most part, neither guarded each other till much later in the game. The spurs help defense probably would be more of the culprit for bosh's poor game.

That said, Timmy was outstanding. If he keeps this up, he has a great shot at DPOY.

This is ridiculous. We're picking up easy wins against Eastern Conference flukies and yall are getting excited.

It was losses against teams like these Eastern Conference (and some Western Conference such as Houston and LA) flukies that got people like you talking about "What's wrong with the Spurs?" in the first place. As I said many times before, we were never struggling, and we are just beating teams we are supposed to beat.

Am I right? Spurs get to do what Phoenix and Dallas have been doing all season - Play a bunch of easy teams and look good with winning streaks. NBA Finals is where the truth comes out.
