The counting of provisional and absentee and other ballots continues in New Mexico and Kerry has cut W's lead to about 5,000...

Taking a look at the Secretary of States site most of the counties have reported in at 100% (including Bernalillo County (Albuquerque)). However, Sandoval County, which includes the northern suburbs of Albuquerque, it's west side and Rio Rancho only 10/65 of their precincts reporting in.

Here is where it stands:

Results for: Sandoval County Number Of Voters: 0
Results as of: 11/15/2004 4:26:12 PM Precincts Reporting: 10 of 65 *

Candidate or Issue Party Votes Percent

PRESIDENT AND VICE PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES
JOHN F. KERRY and JOHN EDWARDS Democratic 1720 61.6%
GEORGE W. BUSH and DICK CHENEY Republican 1045 37.4%

As you recall the networks and the associated press had * up by 5% and called the race for him. I grew up in the area and knew this was not the case.

Take a look at the results as they stand now:

Results for: Statewide Results Number Of Voters: 713165
Results as of: 11/15/2004 4:39:33 PM Counties Reporting: 27

Candidate or Issue Party Votes Percent

PRESIDENT AND VICE PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES
JOHN F. KERRY and JOHN EDWARDS Democratic 347065 49.1%
GEORGE W. BUSH and DICK CHENEY Republican 352396 49.8%

Dateline 16 November 2006

NBADan reports Kerry now within 52,000 votes in Ohio, New Mexico and Florida.

Senator Kerry, on vacation in New Hampshire (while the Senate is in session) could not be reached for comment.

I hear the Lakers are making a run and inching closer to the Pistons in Game 59 of the 2004 NBA Finals.

All Dan said is that Kerry has made up ground, and apparently he has.

Okay, but it only matters if the election were still being decided. What's the point?

Does Dan EVER have a coherent point?

Nothing has been decided. The vote doesn't become official in any state and electoral votes are not awarded till they are certified which won't happen anywhere till mid-December. Kerry can still unconceed whether he wants to or not.

Manny, you show great potential and great disappointment at the same time.

Your life must be filled with great highs and lows. Are you on anti-depressents?

Shit look who's talking Dan. You don't post anything here that you don't get from DNC talking point memos, CBS, NYT, salon, demounderground, or the official Chinese news agency.

Look at all my posts. I either bring something new or try and add a new angle to the topic at hand. I also seem to be able to do that in 3 threads or less.

Yes you do, bless your heart. However, what have you added of significance to this particular thread?

Well, I've seen him point out that you have a few loose screws and that is pretty significant.

If we're judging by significance on the board, Dan needs to take a hike.
