another thread has stated that a source has said that reggie miller has worked out with the mavs and is gonna sign on thursday.. any validity to that.....

LEONARD

I believe Shank...he has some inside info based on where he works...

I don't know if it's a good thing or not, but I suppose it wouldn't hurt anything to fill the open slot with him...

don't be naive. Mavs obviously are in need of an outside shooter. Who do you have as an outside shooter besides Dirk??

Cuban and the little general are not confident enough on this team to go all the way. You can deny it all you can. But it's true.

Which, of course, means he'll be right at home in the AAC.

how proud would you be of yourself, if you jumped on the coattails of a great team and got a ring the "cheap" way. He might as well have just jumped on the 72-10 Bulls team right before the playoffs.

Bullshit. Your opinion isn't the truth.

You really think that Miller's 8 minutes a game are going to make some huge difference? Last I checked, the makeup of this team is perfectly capable to hang with anyone in its current state. Miller would just be an addition to what's already there.

Sounds to me like you're the ones that are scared of the Mavs adding even more scoring and depth to what they already have, even if it is just Reggie Miller.

So much for the Mavs being young and athletic... But the Mavs do need veteran leadership, with a team that hasn't won a championship and is still young and vulnerable. Utah can wipe out Dallas in 6 games too. Don't forget the 101-79 ass whooping earlier in the season by Utah, only a sign of things to come for Dallas.

Anyway, Miller won't hurt them because he is a nice guy. He could even be usefull in some games like Kerr was in 03.

There would have been no OT and they were out of gas after having to come back from down 20. Which is the bigger choke, being down 20 or losing a 20 point lead?
