Kings waive seldom-used backup guard Hart

Associated Press

SACRAMENTO, Calif. -- The Sacramento Kings waived backup point guard Jason Hart on Thursday night.

Hart spent two seasons with Sacramento, but got little playing time behind Mike Bibby and Ronnie Price. He played in just 13 games this season and openly lobbied for a trade or his release for the last several weeks.

-----------

Hopefully someone picks him up; he's a good guy.

I know this sounds silly, but the dude was one of the best I ever saw on defense at breaking up 2-on-1 fast breaks.

I wish the archives went back a little further so I could bump that thread where I said Jason Hart wasn't an NBA player and Spurs fans acted like I spit on the Alamo.

That said, if the Spurs waive Beno and sign Hart, it'd be hard to argue that it's a downgrade.

For the love of god, sign him.

Hart > Vaughn > Beno

Eh, Hart isn't better than Vaughn. Hart is more like the poorer man's version of Vaughn.

Between Beno and Hart, they both suck so much it's tough to tell which one is better. Hart can defend some, so I guess that'd give him some value. At this point, I don't know anything Beno does well.

Even that left much to be desired.

it's too bad being a good guy doesn't translate to being a good NBA player.

Good riddance.

Beno, Hart and Vaughn all suck. WTF?

I mean there are different levels of suck? You suck more than him and he sucks more than you and she sucks harder than she and so forth? WTF?

THAT'S IT BENO "does nothing well"

Look at the pic's from training camp=Beno doing nothing...
He is able to set on the Bench without getting cramps, although
he needs to get up very slowly in order that he doesn't tear an acl.

Waive Beno sign Hart for the rest of the year.

Like P<S said..Hart is expected to sign with the Clipps. They are in desperate need of a PG.

Hart would be worthless. He would be like Beno except he has no time to learn the system.

Different levels of suck

Are you new? He knows the system already. He just can't shoot.

Hart started for the Bobcats a couple years ago before they saw the great Brevin Knight. His stats weren't bad back then (didn't see any games on TV of course, since theyre the Bobcats).

Now there's an exotic and esoteric talent to build a career on.
