Great game tonight, spurs really clicking towards the playoffs. Tim Duncan as usual Mr. Fundamental.
In news to the East of SA:

Yao Ming will return this Monday March 5th against
I will post link as soon as it is available. It will happen on this road trip for sure and 99% likely against Cleveland. Source: Rockets fsw telecast against spurs. :elephant :spin

if the mavs weren't around i'd probably root for the rockets and i actually used to when hakeem played because i met him on several occasions when i was in college

i am a huge van gundy fan too, goes back to the days when he coached the knicks but i also really like yao and t-mac...actually my cat was named t-mac until i changed it to jho! :lol

600lbs laying across your knee would have ended the careers of many. But Yao's tree-trunk for legs just had a slight fracture of the tibial plate...that was a freak accident. His toe-nail infections were shoe-related and were aggravated by people stepping on his toes. The broken foot, someone kicked his foot and was not related to the toe-infections.

I for one hope he comes back 100% and that T-Mac and everyone else on that team will stay healthy too. I'm curious to see how good the Rockets could be at full strength and whether they can make any noise in the playoffs.

As a Spur fan I'm not sure if I want to deal with them if those two plus Bonzi were all fit. But it'd be nice to see them or Utah give Dallas a competitive second round.

a healthy yao and tmac? i wouldn't want to see them again right away, the first round seven game series two years ago was enough. we trounced them in the seventh game but all six games before that were crazy entertainment

The rockets had Yao early in the season with T-Back. Their record isn't that great. I'd say they are the 4th best team in the west with Yao healthy.

I agree let them be Utah's problem in the first round. McGrady will be more motivated since he has never been past the 1st round.

hahaha I love it when Rockets fans think Yao coming back is going to make a difference. The Rockets are the same team with or without him. If he's there then T-Mac is useless, when he's not, T-Mac plays well. It balances out....except that Yao hurts the Rockets on defense because he's so slow and fouls so much (and has a turn of turnovers).

To say they will destroy the mavs and suns when Yao is healthy is laughable this is the real season now and never under estimate the heart of a champion.
