If you have to ask, then you must not be a fan of the one that is .... Or are just wanting a Pat on the back.

The Spurs

Last five years means 2002-2003 to 2006-2007.

Spurs have a better record over that time, more championships, and an equal number of Finals appearances. And they beat the Pistons head-to-head. What could possibly be your argument?

my bad. i thought that we are talking about the championship teams. and not including this year, that would mean 01-02, through 05-06.

then that would mean that the Spurs have been the best team over the past 5 years, unquestionably.

Can we just lock worthless threads like this?

The Spurs are probably the best. Do I care about the best team over a period of time? No. I care about gearing up for the playoffs.

The Spurs beat the Pistons in the championship, besides have two championships to the Pistons' one. Was this a serious question?

Most definitely the Spurs. There's no question about that.

Meh, this is ok, but the alias "Jerry Stackhouse" on d-m.com posts better shtick than this.

The game after Austin Croshere scores 34 points, he starts a thread titled "Who's starting at PF tonight?" Instant classic.
