10 at half cannot get game on East coast - will be at Th game. From half box seems like he is having quite a half.

Hope Pop lets him continue his role in the 2nd half - could be a breakout game that is badly needed.

If he does breakout again and Spurs have 3 players consistently bringing close to 20 or more on average every night: TD, Manu/Tony = Spurs are then truly the class of the league = Mark it Down gonna happen!!

MadDoc in Philly - yes it sometime sucks being here! - :smokin :hat miss SA = best city among 6 in top 20 I have lived beating our Seattle, DC, Phil, Columbus, and Atlanta by far!

Tony is penetrating a lot. He is also pushing the tempo as much as he can. Beno did very well when he spotted Parker. The Spurs actually took the lead and took it up to 5 or 6 with Beno at the helm. Beno did one sick back cut for a layup (assist from Malik) on Marbury while Marbury got hung up with his own guy.

Manu is passing to open men and passing up marginal shots. He's not feeling it as much tonight but he has made some awesome penetrations and passes.

Duncan has been a little off tonight.

The Spurs played weak perimeter D in the 1st quarter and they were letting the Knicks out-muscle in the paint for 2nd chances.

The 2nd quarter, the Spurs made good adjustments and cut off the middle AND the played super strong D on the perimeter. The Knicks had a lot of shots late in the shot clock.

Tony looked very relaxed and cool tonight. 10/12 FT's, taking to the hole aggressively.

Has Manu come back down to Earth???

I don't think Manu has been the same since that forearm shiv to the kidney from Eddie Jones. I think his back has been tight but it will get better.

He looked like he was out of it tonight and he looked like he was scared to do what he usually does. I almost wonder if it was the stab in the back the other day that did it.

NY was keying their defense on Manu.

Plus, Tony was having a great night. I don't think you'll consistently see both Tony and Manu with 20+ on the same night.

Teams are going to have to key their perimeter D on one or the other. Whichever teams choose, the other will have a big night.

Tony pentrated very well, but a number of times he got in the paint and then didn't really know what to do, leading to a few bad turnovers.

But it was definitely a step in the right direction, and his best overall game so far.

A 17 point victory and we are complaining! = past Spurs teams would lose early in the year to horrible teams like the Knicks.

Lovin it!

As long as we keep winning and its different people stepping up every night, it will confuse the scouts and keep opposing coaches guesses. Sounds like a winning combination to me.
