Chili Pepper fan killed

A FAN of the Red Hot Chili Peppers has died in New Zealand after being run over while camping out waiting to buy tickets for a concert.
DPA reported the 18-year-old fan was hit this morning while waiting for a ticket outlet in the northern North Island town of Whangarei to open.
He had been sleeping in a car park.
Police were looking for the car, which drove off after the incident about 3.30am (1.30am AEDT), DPA reported.
NZPA reported the Red Hot Chili Peppers had sent their condolences to fan's family.
"The band's hearts and prayers are with the family at this sad time," a representative of the band was quoted as saying
