He was such an attractive prospect because hes like 6'7 but plays the point. A guy that size can easily school some of the shorter PGs on the league (TJ Ford, Chris Paul etc). But he definately is a little behind where they thought he'd be (WAAAY behind now). He should have gone to college.

Quick question...

It was bugging me during the game. You guys remember a year or two back when Barry and another player got tangled up on a fast break. I think Barry committed a hard foul, or one was committed on him. Sean Elliot made a comment like "those are two heavy weights going at it" lol.

Anyways, who was the other player? I hate when I can't remember something like that. It's bugging me now.

On Yahoo sports box scores, right now it has manu as having scored 16 points (on 50 percent shooting and 7/8 from the line), grabbing 8 boards, and dishing 4 assists...which all seems accurate...but it says he did it all in ONE minute!

Talk about efficiency...he also managed 3 turnovers in that miracle minute as well

What impresses me most about the past two games (and especially tonight) are Vaughn and Udrih gaining confidence. IMHO, in order for us to Dallas or PHO to a 7 game series we will need Tony to be fresh come 4th quarters. Having Vaughn play some stretches of shut down D and Udrih making decent decisions and knocking down a few jumpers could put this team in a nice position to compete if they keep this up.

I watched the game on NBA league pass, which picked up the Clippers TV feed tonight. The color analyst (can't remember his name, but he’s a former NBA player I believe) said repeatedly "I think this is the best team in the NBA right here". He said (paraphrasing) "I know what Dallas' record is, but these guys have been playing Manu and Duncan for fairly light minutes most of the year. Now this team is doing it's thing, just like it does every year... turning it on at the right time."

He said "I think this team's going to win the championship this year". He also believes that this Spurs team (which is different from the first-half Spurs) is better than they were last year.

Pretty high praise.

But Beno had 4 turnovers so he sucks.
:lol it's funny how magnified they become, just because of his stigma.

I mean don't Manu and Tony get those every other game? Around 3 to 4?

Even Timmy has the occasion one or two times when getting stripped.

...on the other hand. Beno does seem to be a lot more efficient with his TO's, since he has only so little minutes to commit them.

ShoogarBear
03-06-2007, 01:48 AM
It isn't the number of turnovers, it's the nature of them.

Tony and Manu's turnovers are usually when they're trying to do too much.

Beno had three turnovers where the guy just took the ball from him.
