The Mavs have done superbly in the Regular season so far this year. Right now, I'd say that only San Antonio and Phoenix can even barely compete with them. But the Mavs have off-nights like other teams so they can be beaten.

Thus far, Mavs haven't played a game without Dirk, who is is the Mavs' MVP (except for part of that game against Seattle)... problem is - the Suns and Mavs were neck-and-neck until Nash went out and now they've kept up the 51-56 pace while Suns fell behind.

However, they've won without Marion, which is kind of like winning without Howard.
