Great win. A loss today wouldn't have been taken that seriously considering the Spurs are tired as hell. Getting this win just proves even more that Spurs have improved a lot.

i think he was talking about the hustle on the defensive end. Tim got key rebounds. Bonner got a good steal. Parker got a rebound. They didn't flub anything on the defensive end.

But yeah the whole second half defense was HORRID. But Timmy was out. And sloppy assignments. sooo...what can you do? Not a perfect game. But I'll take the W.

Unless he's seriously hurting, I have to disagree with you. He started to finally get his groove at the end of the game. Manu isn't going to be able to keep this going every single game. We really needed TP tonight and he luckily came through in the end.

I was really impressed with Bonner. This was my first chance to see him play, and I liked his hustle. He can shoot, which is awesome for a big man, as it really helps to spread the floor. And I thought his defense was fantastic. There were several times when a King was driving on him and Bonner stayed in front of his man, contested the shot, but was able to keep from fouling. He seems to know how to contest the shot but also sort of fade away so that the driver can't force contact.

Kori Ellis

Well Tony obviously didn't have any lift at all and was noticably limping. Maybe it's moreso from the wrap than the injury. If so, hopefully he's well enough to play without the wrap next game.

Thoughts:

-Ginobili is just stupid good.

-Duncan looked lively.

-Parker looked bad all game (still injured?) but came up with two pretty big shots.

-I think Bonner played his best game of the season. The Spurs bigs were being soft down low (especially with Williamson), and Bonner came in and ended that. He's not going to ever be a great defender, however he can be a tough defender.

-Elson looked like he'd never played basketball before. Why does he jump on a Williamson pump fake? If he doesn't jump, there's no way Williamson can get it over him. And then against Miller, Elson would jump for the block like three seconds too early.

-Oberto was better than Elson, but he wasn't physical enough down low either.

-Bowen was trying to do too much on offense. I thought his D was pretty good, though.

-Finley hit some big shots in the second half. His shoot has looked good recently. Barry played hard.

Overall, it was a good win. The Spurs didn't play overly well, but they got it done. Bonner's play was encouraging and I think he really took a step forward. He didn't try to do too much offensively, and defensively he didn't back down.

Nice game there Spurs fans. Kept it interesting, thanks!

Manu is amazing, Tim consistant as a good shit after eating salad. :)

Seriously, it was fun. We were this close.

Loved the late T.O. by Pop, were the TNT guys cussing him out for that? The Muss responded, you gotta love it.

What more am I to expect from Jacque?

Nothing.

Beno doesn't.

Wow. 21 games to go and 2 games out of the playoffs and you are referring to the Kings as a "lottery team". Good thing your team has more heart than you do. Well, slightly.

Just saw the score a little while ago (I've been falling asleep early this past week...what is wrong with me?) and although I was expecting a larger margin of victory, this is a game that they would have lost earlier in the season. They are winning in different ways, and that is critical come playoff time.

Oh, and Ginobili is playing with huge ones...I'm surprised he's not tripping all over the court.

shit...Artest beats women but Artest OWNS the Spurs. Manu would be flopping like crazy and crying if Artest was playing. He would not have produced even half the points he had tonight.
