Why was Robert Horry boed everytime he came in to play by the Kings fans?

Summers

I believe Steve Kerr explained that during the broadcast... something about Horry putting an end to the Kings' only chance at a championship...

I love it when our players get booed on the road... it means they're bad ass.

I was referring to the most painful memory not the most unbelievable shot to hurt the other team. I don't care for the pistons, or the spurs, and I was actually a fan of the Bulls.

Very depressing game but that only tied the series. Game 7 was the worst because you knew the Lakers had just won another title. :bang

I saw David Lynch and Inland Empire here in Austin back in February. It is hands down the most fucked up movie he has ever made. It's supposed to be out on DVD in June I think. Anyone who is a Lynch fan should check it out.

Or, in Horry's case, it means that he was, at one point in time, bad ass.

the fucked up part about that game was at the end of the second quarter samalki walker hit a 3 that was like a second after time had expired and they counted it.......

Nope. I was going for LA all the way in that series. I hate the Lakers with a passion, but I wanted our boys to be the one to end their run, and I didn't want some scrub-ass franchise full of whiners to take that opportunity from the Spurs. Still, I loved it when Christie fucked Fox's pretty-boy ass up on national tv 5 months later.

Divac did the right thing in gettng the ball the hell away from the basket in he first place (considering the 6 seconds of chaos beforehand). Horry was just at the right place at the right time.

I'm different from you. When the Spurs are out, I bandwagon the ABL. That said, I am glad things worked out the way they did. One of the many priceless moments from the 2003 DVD was after game six in Staples when Malik tracked down Phil Jackson for a handshake and Phil accepted it with the one of the phoniest, shit-eatingest grins you will ever see. Outside of the NBA Finals, this may be my favorite Spurs game of all time.

I respectfully disagree. He had inside position to grab that rebound and should have secured it, though I'll grant you that maybe his arm was being held and thus he couldn't.

Likely, Divac thought there was less time available than there actually was.

:lol

I'll admit I was going for the Kings. They were a real team, so you can't knock them. Also I liked how they weren't intimidated by the Lakers. They believed they could beat them, and almost did, but weren't lucky enough.

But in hindsight. I'm glad Spurs were the ones to end the Lakers Championship. I mean, if the Kings won, then Tim wouldn't have made Kobe cry! :lol

and no one can take that away from the Spurs now. So, that Horry dagger was a blessing in disguise for Tim's career. Plus, ending a back to back championship, probably is less painful, than getting a 4 peat taken away from you.

You lose that series, even with Dirk. That was our season and all the Dirk Nowitzki's and Steve Nash's in the world wouldn't have saved you.
