Baseball is almost here.
Some here on the website make fun of baseball, especially the foreigners and thats ok.
Baseball to us who participate on this forum is something thats hard to describe.
You grew up with it.
It realy is a comforting thing. Sunday afternoon. ot dogs, soda and chips. T shirt and shorts, and you kick back and enjoy a good old game of baseball.
I mean, baseball hits you differently than other sports.
Basketball is exciting and great, but during the game, theres never this sense of like comfort, or ease as you watch. Your always tense or semi tense.
Spring training is here, minor leaguers are busting butt to make the "show"
listening to the radio broadcast of the cards today just puts me, in a state of good.
Baseball is just something that can't be described.
While its no longer "america's pasttime" wich is now football.
Its still a game with a rich wonderfull history, and a great thing right now.
