NEW ORLEANS (AP) -- Glenn Robinson says his adjustment period with the Philadelphia 76ers is coming to an end, and it showed against the New Orleans Hornets.
Robinson scored 23 points and Allen Iverson had 22 in the 76ers' 92-86 victory over undermanned New Orleans on Wednesday night.
``I'm just starting to get back in form like I like to,'' said Robinson, acquired in the offseason from Atlanta.
Robinson has been averaging just over 17 points this season, about three points below his average last season. Increasingly, however, his teammates are showing signs of finding him in the spots where he likes to shoot.
Iverson, who hopes to have some scoring pressure taken off him, was pleased with Robinson's assessment.
``That's important. That's what we need,'' Iverson said. ``He started off kind of slow, but now I think he's found his rhythm and that's big for us because it's going to help us in the long run.''

John Salmons added 12 points, and Samuel Dalembert had 10 rebounds to help the Sixers snap a three-game losing streak and extend New Orleans' losing streak to two.
New Orleans' regular starting guards Baron Davis (sprained left ankle) and David Wesley (sprained big left toe) were out, forcing Hornets coach Tim Floyd to start Darrell Armstrong and Steve Smith.
Armstrong had 29 points and five steals to lead New Orleans, and Smith added 12 points. Both were instrumental in helping New Orleans to an early lead, but combined to miss six 3-pointers in the fourth quarter as the Hornets tried to rally.
New Orleans shot 4-of-20 form 3-point range for the game and only 30 percent from the floor in the second half.
Robert Traylor, playing a bigger role off the bench in the past eight games, continued his solid play with 13 points and 10 rebounds for New Orleans. Jamaal Magloire had 17 points.
The Sixers beat the Hornets in nearly every phase of the game, including 42-30 on points inside and 16-10 on fast-break points.
Philadelphia had a 44-36 rebounding advantage and a 20-14 edge in second-chance points.
``We got beaten up in the third quarter on the defensive board. They had several second-chance opportunities,'' Floyd said. ``Glenn got into his rhythm and was a big difference maker tonight.''
The Hornets had a 55-46 lead early in the third quarter, but Philadelphia then switched to a zone defense and started getting fast-break baskets off of turnovers and quick outlet passes after rebounds. The Sixers went on to score on 11 of 14 possessions and outscored the Hornets 27-10 the rest of the quarter to take a 73-65 lead.
``Obviously, they were undermanned, but it was still a good win,'' Philadelphia coach Randy Ayers said. ``The zone defense changed the tempo of the game. We didn't have to defend all their cuts. We were able to rebound andget out in the open court.''
Notes
The Hornets had only nine players in uniform and played only eight because of injuries to Davis, Wesley, David West (bruised right knee) and Jamal Mashburn, who isn't expected back from minor knee surgery until next week. Reserve center Sean Rooks dressed despite a sprained right ankle. He did not play. ... Philadelphia's Eric Snow (eight points) has been in a scoring slump in the past four games, during which he has a total of 25 points on 7-of-27shooting.
