The recently appointed Secretary of Education, Margaret Spellings has provided automatic fodder for newspaper editors and headline writers. I can see it now - "Spellings Key to Education"

This conjured up memories of other people I've heard of or have known with interestingly appropriate or humorous names.

Here's another one I know of:

Dr. (Mark) Payne

List yours below.

One year I was watching the Thanksgiving Day Football game and it was the Lions vs somebody, I can't remember at this time, but there was a defensive back that played for the Lions, and his name was Harold Colon. The funny thing is that when the announcers said his name, they called him Harry Colon. Must have been a nice childhood!!
