The Rockets will shoot down the Suns tonight; Yao is back running a bit better, and putting up big numbers.
This game should be the one to put a stop to Phoenix little run and the Spurs will move a little closer in the Standing.

this is a good measure for both teams before the post season begins. I think that Houston will win also.

I doubt Yao is in good enough shape yet to run up and down the court with Phoenix. I'd be surprised if Houston won this game tonight.

I can't believe I'm agreeing with a Mavsfan, but I am on this one.

This is a game that deserves a game thread.

I'm surprised this thread is still in the Dallas forum.
I would have expected it to get moved to the Kobe forum after a couple of hours.

More like Houston we have a problem. The rockets don't have the athleticism needed to keep up with the suns.

Yao has never been able to run with the Suns - not to mention with half a leg

yeh, Yao hasn't been that durable, and he may not be in full game shape now, which even for him may not be enough to run with the Suns.

Yao's already bent over grabbing his shorts, and it looks like he's running with a limp.

I'm no fan of either team, but the Suns are going to roll Houston. D'Antoni just publicly got after his team today for playing poorly. My guess is the Suns respond with authority tonight.

10 points now. Still very early, but I thought T-Mac would have put more of a stamp on this game. Maybe later.

Rox 38% vs 65% after 1st qtr, that's losing defense AND offense.

T-Mac hits a bunch of jump shots vs the Spurs. Why can't he do it vs Phoenix?

I hope now, or at least very soon, everyone will realize that Yao or no Yao, T-Mac or no T-Mac, the Rockets are a second tier team and not in the same league as Dallas, San Antonio, and Phoenix....and any talk of the Rockets upsetting anybody is stupid. 1st round exit, guaranteed.

Houston didn't defend the 3-point line. Simple as that. The Suns were getting wide open 3s all night. The Spurs figured that out and that's why they've been able to dominate the Suns come playoff time.

It is so sad that you can't never depend on other teams to win games.

Good win for the Suns. I didn't think they would win. And yeah the Rockets are second tier to Dallas, Phoenix, and S.A. The only problem is that second tier teams can play spoiler very easily. I still wouldn't count them out, and only a fool would look past them.

Actually, the sun will set on the Suns Wed night in Dallas.
No way the Mavs lose 2 in a row.

Mavs could easily lose tomorrow night. If the Suns are hitting a high % of their 3 point shots they are pretty much unbeatable. I would imagine Dallas is going to show up and play decently tomorrow night but a hot shooting night by Phoenix can take them down. I think this game is much more important to the Suns as they want to prove they can beat a good team.
