Not sure if this was posted, but Eddie Griffin was just waived from the T-Wolves. Think he wants some retribution on the Mavs here in the playoffs? He could d-up on Dirk from time to time. Just a thought. Toss it around

He would probably be a viable option if he could keep himself from downing a fifth, j'ing up, and wanking to a porn DVD while driving drunk down the street.

I said the same thing about Glenn Robinson, and he turned out to be alright for the playoffs.

Unless he grows 6 inches, becomes a team defensive stopper and focuses himself on getting half a rebound a minute played I dont think he can help the spurs.

I'm not sure that Eddie Griffin really needs to be 7'4" to be a viable NBA player.

It's much more about the head and the heart -- if he had those, I think he might be able to skate by at 6'10"

Viable? Yes. Driving while masturbating? Now that takes talent! :lol

The guy is such a head-case. He wouldn't fit in at all. Besides, who would the team waive? Ely? Both are going to have to learn the system anyways.

If the T-Wolves let him go, he must really suck.

A player had to be released by March 1st in order to be eligible to be on a playoff roster

That might be a valid assumption if Kevin McHale wasn't the worst GM in the league.
