I picked TT originally but changed to BC after I heard everyone and their mother talkin bout how Tech sucks.

I wavered on Xavier two nights ago. Went with BYU because it had two players (Fernando Malaman and Lee Cummard) whom I had the fortune of covering at either AWC (Malaman) or Cummard (as a prep) when I was a sportswriter.

Went with my heart, not with my head. Hopefully Xavier gets beat in the next round. Can't have too many more Sweet-16 upsets with Old Dominion getting ousted.

Sucks two ways because neither of the two players did anything. Cummard, as far as I know, was shut out and Malaman never saw the court. Don't understand why Malaman has fallen so far out of favor this season. 6-10, 240 center who can run, block shots, rebound and shoot better than 40% from range? As a junior he averaged 8 points, 4 rebounds and a block per in roughly 20 minutes. As a senior, next to nothing thanks to his minutes being drastically cut. Whatever...
