Well, it was obviously there to poke fun at the Mavs legit stretch, but it changed as the Spurs winning streak increased...the streak is over and the statement isn't legit anyway, so...

Cliff Notes: It was mildly amusing when the Spurs were streaking...now it just makes no sense...

Well it is a Spurs forum and up until yesterday we were tied for the greatest 13 game stretch in US sports history.

Technically true...but like I said, it was midly humorous while the Spurs were on their streak...
