It's been so long, I'm hoping some season ticket holders remember it better.
Is it better to get sideline (between the baseline) seats in the upper deck, or be down on the first decks in the corners (say 25-30 rows back)?
Thoughts?

Thanks Dio. It's been a long time but I don't remember the sideline upper deck seats being that bad.

I sat in the corners downstairs, but went upstairs from time-to-time to visit friends during games or things like that. I'd take downstairs in the corner over upstairs on the sideline. I always felt like I was much further away from the game when I was upstairs. Maybe that's just me, though.

No...it was the same way for me.

You are far away upstairs, but downstairs you could also be in a bad football sight line. The seats in the Alamo Dome are designed to look at the 50 yard line, a point FAR behind the blue curtain of death.
The corner would probably be OK. Just make sure you're not on the end of the sideline seats. I spent an entire Spurs game with my neck cranked at a 45 degree angle looking at the court.
Louisville is no slouch. I wouldn't be purchasing a hotel room just yet.
