BIG IRISH

When I was in the Air Force, stationed in Hawaii, a few days
before St. Patrick’s Day. Our Major informed us that she was Irish
and it would be nice if we decorated our office in Green.
The night before St Pat's day everybody came into the office
and brought Green Ash Trays, painted the In/Out Boxes Green
and we even changed the Curtains; we got some green ones
from the Army.
The only one that didn't partake was our Senior Sergeant.
His ash tray was Orange; In/out baskets were Orange
He even painted his calendar and Pencil Holder Orange.
The morning of St. Patrick's Day, The Major came to our
Door, looked around and said “The Office looks nice
with a touch of Green" By the way Sgt Pittman, I see
You don't appear to have participated."
Sgt Pittman answered "MY SHORTS ARE GREEN---want to see them?"
The Major turned and as She was Walking away
looked over her shoulder and said:
They wouldn't be, if you'd change them more often."
