I sold two Dell Pc's last week for 75.00 Dollars each, But this one has twice the HD space and it has DVD Rom/CD Burner combo. Is asking 150.00 to high?

The reason I ask is the two other PC's I sold the people gave me a real funny look as If I am charging too low, or I am charging to high ,I was to embarrassed to ask them.

Any info you have will help me, Thanks :wakeup

Mr. Mouse

When I went to your apartment Thursday, that look I gave you had nothing to do with the PC. You kinda reminded me of Ron Jerome :lol

What kind of stats did the PC's have? $75 sounds low, $150 might be a little high for a used low end Dell (but in the end all that matters is how much they're willing to pay). Do you have any laptops you want to get rid of?

If everyone @ ST would take all thier old PCs and parts to Kori's house we could build some cool PCs for the Kids to give away @ Xmas each year. I can make sure we get the TV/Radio coverage we need so others will donate in years to come. We deliver them ourselves, So we get to meet the families involved.

It will get as Big as the Elf Luise Toys for Tots program. I can't do it here I live in a one bedroom apartment. I thought Maybe that asshat Cyber Bob would have helped me back in 2000 when I asked him, but he gave me the finger.

Watch in about a year from now someone at one of the TV stations will steal another =RTM= Idea and claim it as their own. :wakeup

I have enough desktops, a couple of generations ahead of that too. The only things I need are a new high end video card which I can't nearly afford at the moment and a decent little laptop. I just need something with wireless (802.11b/g) that can run basic programs without crashing. Don't feel like spending $500 to $1,000 for a new laptop just for that.

I bought a used pc before and it was $300 and it didn't have half the shit mouse puts on them. $150 is a good deal if you need a pc and if it does mess up he knows how to fix it.

$150 for a 900Mhz computer? People can buy new laptops for $399 that have a lot better specs than that ... in the end, it doesn't matter what software you bundle with a computer because someone always has a way of getting it.

First off I am not selling a laptop, And second, if your going to make a point, try and stay with in the price range, 150.00 If not? then your comparing apples to oranges. 900 MHZ was not my choice. Don't you think If I had a larger CPU I would sell it?

Most games require at least 800 MHZ to play so at least I make the minimum.
Also this was not a topic to toot my horn but to ask if 150.00 was to much for a Desktop Pc The Dentice was asking for at least 800.00 Dollars down before he would start the first step in putting in Braces for my Step Daughter. So I was trying to think of ways to raise the cash.

She gets tired of kids in school making fun of her teeth all the time. I will just give the PC to a lady who lives in my apartments she just got here from India and starts working at USAA Monday.

Thank you all for your input.

That may be true but in the future post the links to these so called great deals you claim are better than the one I posted, and make sure it's in the 150.00 range :wakeup

Don't ask for opinions if you can't handle it ... Just go with $140 and hope they counter with $120.

I've heard of people builing their own PC's that spend well over $1000 for their systems. I've never had any problems with the PC I got from mouse. Although the XP time ran out on it.

I've got an old Dell that my daughter was trying to download songs but she keeps getting some JAVA error from LimeWire.

Time to take it to the Mouse for a re-haul. Not sure if anything can be done since it so old.
