its tommorow night, so im making it now.

this game worries me for three reasons

1. we play bad in Cleveland
2. its aback to back
3. the killer, George AND Buckner are both out leaving no depth for guarding Lebron.

Mavs better play their best, if they take them lightly, theyll get blown out of the gym

you have to beat stern when you play james

james the last 2 weeks has been onfire
the best he has played in forever
steve kerr call him out
and james is on a mission
can he keep it up?

im really just worried about the buckner and George injuries. they did a great job on Kobe when we beat them in LA. sometimes on b2b's we come out very flat (Golden State) and we cant do it in this game cause we'll need to play our best to win.

this game has trouble written all over it

even if we lose, we have games against the celtics, hawks and hornets to look foward to every other day after tomorrow night's game and some cushion since the suns have lost two games. aj's been managing minutes well so the mavs should be alright tomorrow night, i like their chances despite james' nice play of late

cool, i didnt' realize cleveland played tonight, so at least we'll both be coming off BTBs except that the Cavs had to play an overtime game tonight...plus, they lost to the Bobcats tonight, let's make them lose again tomorrow night!

I was in the stadium for the bobcats- cleveland match. Great atmosphere. gerald wallace is seriously underrated. For most of the tips he was going against gooden and winning the tips.

His athleticism and hustle alone got him a few points and quite a few offensive rebounds. He guarded lebron well and lebron got a little rattled and shot a few airballs. Too bad he cant stay healthy for a long time.

Anyway as for tommorrow's match, i hope that we win but wouldnt be surprised if we didnt. Will buckner or george be back for tommorrow's game??

"We gave ourselves a chance to win at the end of regulation and I didn't come through for the team," James said. "We had a lot of unforced errors at the end of the game and we paid for it."

Looks like Josh is gonna have to guard LeBron a lot tonight. I don't know of anyone else that can stay with him with George & Buck out. Stack will probably get some minutes against him as well.

LeBron is going to have a big night. The Mavs will just have to do a good job vs. everyone else if they are to win.

Dunks over Duncan shouldn't really count as Duncan never leaves the floor (not sure if he's capable). I think the defender should be up in the air trying to block the dunk for it to be a really great dunk (posterized).

Lebron is way too passive at times. He needs to be attacking the rim every time down the lane. And if he doesn't have a shot, he needs to wait draw in the double/triple team and pass out to the open shooter.

He doesn't have that "Take over" mentality that Wade/Kobe have...

Cavs have no chance to comeback and win this. Down 7 with 1:39 left, predictably they'll triple team Lebron and he'll pass to a teammate who'll brick the shot and Mavs will score at the other end for the game.

actually they are all above average players. problem is none of them really stand out amongst each other. you can build a playoff team with these guys it really just comes down to making shots. they just cant make them at the end of the game.

when you have a superstar who is so much better than everyone else plus an inexperienced coach who will fall in love with him, you have this problem

if you put in a young coach for Dallas, trade Dirk for Lebron the Mavs would have a similar record. its all about teaching discipline and you have to have a system which everyone can trust

He was forced to play Dirk a lot since Damp & Diop got 3 fouls each very early. That's why Dirk & Croshere were in the game so much together. Dirk was playing the 5 and Croshere was playing the 4. It was a strange game as the Mavs were both short-handed and in foul trouble.
