04 05, Ginobili and Duncan both hurt, Parker goes onto dominate in back to back games against the Clippers and Warriors, beating both of them single handidly.
Hes also had huge 4ths and OTs in the playoffs that year against the Nuggets.
Those are just rapid games I can fire off right now.
Gaurantee there are others.
But keep on the Parker hate, you haters show your ignorance quite a bit.

As long as Bonner gets playing time, this team has no chance of getting out of the first round....
Nice back to back turnovers on Jayhawk Vaughn... he has to be one of the shittiest backups ever.

I like Bonner. He's a very poor man's Dirk. Wait..... nah Dirk gets shitloads more of Pt, and they both can hit 3's. Dirk gets more because he doesnt have an ass of a coach that keeps him on the bench for so long.

How can you not like Bonner? The guy plays his guts out. He reminds me of Danny Ferry and hopefully like Ferry, will win us a playoff game with his hustle and toughness.

Bitches - you need to get the the back of the line.
The founder of this church is Sam and I'll be damned if Timvp wasn't next followed by me. Disregard Sequ's white boy hate, Bonner is the truth.

Ginobili had 40 in the Clipper game. It was the GS game that he took a break.

Bono is servicable until he throws the ball away. He just needs to park on the perimeter like Jaren Jackson.

BTW,
pop, how many fucking times does Bonner have to come in, kick ass, and lead the team on runs, before you make him the first GD big off the bench.
Bring in Bonner for Elson.
Horry for Duncan.
Then bring in Elson for Horry.
Its not hard to work him into the rotation, give him the damn Malik Rose role.
I watched an old film today of Spurs V Mavericks from 05 with Malik in it, and Bonner has alot of the same mannerisms Malik does, Malik was just more familiar with defense.
Bonner can fill his role, and he can give what Malik gave, but even better on the offensive end.
Just wish Pop would realize this and give him the goddamn minutes.

I would understand if he was fucking up rotations on D, or really really horrid on one on one D, but the gringo holds up well.
He moves his feet well, and keeps a hand in the face.
I think it was the game vs the Clippers in SA where he defended Elton Brand perfectly
I mean thats a tough ass cover.
Id love to see how hed do vs a Dirk Nowitzki type.
IMO, if he can deny the drive, put a hand up, and force off balanced shots, then you've got your man for the playoffs.
He can rebound, he knock down the three.
If he can do those two things in the playoffs, Duncan plays well, parker is solid, Ginobili is Ginobili, then this team has no equal.

Bonner is one of those hustle guys that fans love because he'll give you everything he has while he's on the court. Every team needs someone like that to give it a kick in the butt when people are lazy or things aren't going well.
You can't judge them by a missed rotation or two if they are fighting for loose balls and energizing the team in other areas. Their contribution may be more than the sum of the separate parts.
Manu is the best at this, but Bonner can help. We always talk about how players can improve just by being exposed to the Spurs system and team play. Let's hope Bonner is one of those guys. At least, he's not going to need guidance couseling for behavior problems.

If this is still here in a few days Pop must've Sanduskyed Bonner in a youth league. That's the only way to explain the loyalty.
