do you still lose a drink every hour when youre sleeping? i'd think you'd have to be pretty fucked up to sleep 7,8, or 9 hours and still wake up fucked up... i've never woken up drunk... maybe just a little buzzed.

If it's affecting your job then it's time for http://www.alcoholics-anonymous.org/?Media=PlayFlash

I once went to work at 5pm and was still drunk. I worked part of the time outdoors at the time, and when I started to sweat, you could really smell the alcohol oozing out of my pores, despite having showered and lots of body spray. Luckily it was only a four hours shift.

I slept for about 12 hours after I got home and still woke up hungover. That was the only time I got the hangover a day later instead of the next day.

I've been drunk enough to start walking home from my friends house without even saying goodbye... I didnt even realize I had left his house until my cell phone rang and they where all wondering where I was at.... I told them I think Im going home..... I was lost until morning.

my friends house is a 30 minute drive from mine.

haha reminds me one time I was so drunk I walked home from a downtown bar. it took me 4 hours and i got home like at 10am. I was walking drunk as shit and shirtless, when ppl were going to church and shit. I even found a puppy on the way haha

I didn't miss work, but the very last time I was unconscious-drunk was in Vegas ... and the hangover was so bad and lasted so long that until this day, my body won't even let me drink enough to get drunk anymore ... no matter how hard I try.

I missed meeting GhostWriter because of that. :depressed

I've never missed work, but I missed many full days of classes when I was a student. Haven't gotten anywhere near that drunk in close to a decade, however, and have no intention of doing so again.

Had some job training course in Ohio that was a drunken blur for three weeks and was proud that I was only late once...albeit several hours late.

Also missed plenty of classes, but still graduated so it worked out in the end...

Floated the Frio as a senior in college, which was another 4 day trip of alcoholic bliss. The only time I've ever woken up sober and been drunk before noon. Also ran out of milk, so I ate my cereal with beer....highly overrated.

I once got left behind at a bar (actually, I went next door to "another bar" on my own), with no money for a taxi, and walked 26 miles to get home ... in February ... in Wisconsin.

i think the john bonham thing refers to him drinking so much he died. or alcohol poisoning. or something involving lots of alcohol, and death.

Bonham is one of the greatest drummers ever to have lived. Too bad he died choking on his own vomit.
