If Bonner or Beno get playoff minutes and the game is within 40 points, I may have to be admitted to the hospital.

Beno I agree with, but Bonner really showed something. His hustle and determination are infectious.

Rasheed Wallace was killing him. Who does he match up with?
Also, offensively, he hit a one wide open shot and ran around like a chicken with his head cut off.

come on man.... :madrun

Well we dont really have any bigs that match up well against those teams, at least Boner can hit 3s and hustles

For one, Rasheed was killing everyone not named Duncan in the 2nd quarter. Why do you only bring up those points? Why didn't you mention the boards or offensive possessions he keeped alive with his hustle. I say he held his own against the Pistons. I'm not saying Bonner is a great player, but he puts fire back into the Spurs when they get listless.

Come on Sequ.....

i don't understand why bonner, beno and oberto are even on the active roster... also, why in the hell are they even getting minutes? I don't get it... I guarantee you Ely is better than Oberto and Bonner. The dancing usher is better than Beno... so wtf? cut your losses and let beno go, he would be an allstar in the eastern conference.. :D

Do you ever stop being a nagging bitch?

Seriously, you used to at least have something useful to say one of out every ten posts. Now, no more.

Hopefully you flip the switch come playoff time because right now you are close to being the only poster in the history of SpursTalk that I've ever put on my ignore list.

Go have some freakin' pie and STFU.

Do some research before you make that claim. Austin is easily the Mavs 9 or 10th. He's avg over 10minutes a game over the past two weeks. That's exactly the role Bonner plays. He's the Spurs 5th or 6th guy off the bench after Manu, Finley, Vaughn, Horry (some nights), and Oberto.

Bonner is Malik Rose with the 3 pointer.

Give him the minutes and he will produce.

Beno I agree with.

Ely over Oberto I agree with 150%.

I'm sorry, but seeing Bonner with his low post game taking on the Championship Contender Detroit Pistons in the fourth quarter makes me sick.

Also, the Beno Udrih experiment was proven the last time the Spurs gave up a 10-0 run against the Pitons.

I guess I could talk about Parker's and Duncan's contribution tonight which led to the win...

or should I talk about the seconds Oberto played..

or Elson's dunk... and Hamilton's layups right in front of him...

or Bowen's dumb foul with less than a minute

or Jacque Vaughn's stellar play.. :lol

or Horry's one made jumper this month...

or Barry's great contribution tonight.. it was good...

or Manu's journey back into reality or unreality.. not sure.. does anyone know?

or Finley's.. ummm.. ummm.... I can't tell.

Maybe it's just the hangover from losing to the Eastern Conference Bottom Feeders....

No chance.

I like what I'm seeing from Bonner. He is a better spot-up shooter than I realized. He's very agressive on the boards, too.

No. Croshere is about the Mavs 12th man. He's been getting those minutes because 2 guys ahead of him in the rotation (Buckner and George) have been out.

Parker needs 8-10 minutes of rest each game. Vaughn (2nd qtr.) and Udrih (4th qtr.) were both ineffective vs. the Pistons while Tony got a breather. Parker cannot play the whole game. It worked out okay once TP got back in there.

Bonner = 3-pt shooting 6'10" guy so he can take the opposing Big out to the perimeter to open up the interior. A 6'10", good shooting, rebounding, hustling banshee is a good role player to have for spot minutes.

No, Croshere has been moved up the rotation since those guys have been out. Prior to Buckner and George being out, Croshere was the 10th man. Below you will see minutes for al Mavs players this year. The 11th and 12th men for the mavs are any combination of Ager, Barea, Mbenga, or Bonsu (after they traded A. Johnson).

31 Jason Terry - 35.5 MPG
41 Dirk Nowitzki - 36.9
25 Erick Dampier - 25.6
5 Josh Howard - 35.7
1 Greg Buckner - 18.0
34 Devin Harris - 25.9
42 Jerry Stackhouse - 23.8
7 DeSagana Diop - 17.0
40 Devean George - 20.6
44 Austin Croshere - 11.0
13 Maurice Ager - 3.8
11 Jose Barea - 3.7
28 Didier Ilunga-Mbenga - 3.8
21 Pops Mensah-Bonsu - 5.1
