Saw it tonight, and I really liked it. Brought me back to my childhood. COWABUNGA!!!

Oh, and don't watch it before 9 pm if you go to the theater. Damn annoying watching a movie with 70 kids under the age of 5.

I saw it at 12:25pm and even though the theater was 95% empty they sat directly behind me. They were quiet though. I was the one making all the noise and getting rowdy.

Consider me jealous! Can't wait for this puppy to come out :)

So many 'our generation' movies coming out... it's great! The kids that watched TMNT and Transformers are now making them into movies!

Transformers should be good fun. Michael Bay movies are always entertaining.

Is the billionaire actually the original bad guy from the comics though?

They could be following that line I guess....

I am by far the biggest TMNT fan on this site. The movie was great but also horrible. The images/graphics were amazing. By far the BEST I have ever seen in a movie. Everything looks so real. However the plot was one you would see in a Saturday morning cartoon, not a movie. I wish they involved Shredder or Krang. I think the leader of the Foot Clan hints at Shredder coming back at the end of the movie. Also, since when was April O'Neil a trained assassin? Splinter's voice was also horrible. It didn't even seem like it was him. The Raphael/Leo fight scene in the rain was amazing. I look forward to the sequel.

I am by far the biggest TMNT fan on this site.

I have many pictures from my childhood to disprove this statement...

the movie wasn't as bad as i was expecting. I'd give it a strong 6 1/2

I'd be shocked if Krang didn't make an appearance in the next film... the main reason he didn't get in any of the other movies was budget reasons i believe... but if they're taking the cgi way now, i reckon it'd be easier to portray him.

april knowing martial arts was lame... she's always supposed to be the damsel in distress.

Do those who have seen it recommend it? I was a huge a fan as a kid and I still watch the original movie on occasion.

I wore my TMNT shirt to the movie on opening day.

If you were a fan as a kid then yes you have to see it. I would give it a 7 out of 10.

Was it just me or did April look like Scarlet Johansen.

Just wait. I hear the sequel will introduce Georgia, the purple agnostic lesbian Ninja Turtle.

She wields the weapon of diplomacy.

I'd recommend it if you were one of those kids whose parents put TMNT on to babysit you.

I remember staying up all night with my mom to help her make a Raphael costume for my nephew one year when he was little. He was so excited on Halloween to have that outfit to wear.

tmnt... i have mixed feelings on this. i'll probably end up seeing it somewhere down the line, but don't expect to be very impressed. i was a huge fan as a kid. i used to think they were so cool.

I thought the movie was okay, the effects were great but the story line was okay.
Which TMNT are you?
I always thought I was more like Leonardo with a little Michealangelo mixed in.

You're mature and get the job done. You are a natural born leader, and normally want to be the better of the group. You take your job seriously. You must! It may NOT be a game. When you select a sport, or something you want to do, you train continueously, constantly trying to perfect it. You're always prepared for a challenge, and are normally found one step ahead of your enemies. Loving family more than life itself, you are a good friend, and can be depended on at all times.
