I voted for all of the Spurs, some EC dudes, and wrote in Bowen. The write in feature is VERY easy, with a drop down list of ALL players not on the ballot to chose from.

How'd you vote for all the Spurs when you are given two forwards votes, two guard votes, and one center vote and the Spurs have three guards.

What is up with the "highlights"? They've got two plays by Manu - one's a layup (good but nowhere near his greatest hits) and then him coming off a screen hitting a jumper.

A jumper? WTF is up with that? This guy's the human highlight reel reincarnated, and your "highlight" is him hitting a jumper off a curl?

Who's the third Spurs guard? Barry? I guess I skipped him. Maybe I'll write him in tommorrow.

LMAO @ Kwame Brown even making the ballot. Shit, BB was first team all NBA defense and can't buy a ballot spot, and this scrub ass, DL riding kid gets on? Only in the EC, only there.

I think we need to start a Vote For Ben Wallace campaign. Anything that will keep Shaq out of the starting lineup.

Except that it looks like each day's ballot is dated...

It's on the front page at NBA dot com.

I'm following the homer route also but I'm also trying to be strategic in my voting. I love Garnett's game and wish the Spurs could sign him but in my opinion, a vote for Garnett is a potential vote against Duncan. Duncan and Garnett should unquestionably be the starters for the game so they'll be jockeying for one and two on the ballot. This leaves Duncan vulnerable if Garnett comes out on top and someone else manages to sneak by him. For all the talk about how good the Western conference forwards are, Duncan and Garnett are at their own level. But the All-Star voting is a popularity contest and with voting expanding across the globe and younger players with more visually exciting games on the ballot, it's not inconceivable that Duncan could get pushed into third place. He'd be a shoo in for the coaches vote but I'd rather do what I can not to see it come to that.

The popularity contest for the last several years has been KG and Tim going away at the forward spots, I'm not too worried.

The key is to get Manu the votes. Last year he was fourth in voting behind Nash, Kobe, and Francis. Francis has been swapped for TMac, so we've got to get Manu enough votes to pass two of the three.

ya, start a campaign to keep the best center in the game out of the all star game starting line up. real fucking good idea.

O'Neil and Artest = are you kidding they will be on a jail house team!

East
Shaq with Z backing up
Hill and put Ben Wallace there as a banger
James
Redd or Wade
Iverson = look at his stats playing a hell of a point guard

West this would be the best front line ever all star!

Stoudemeir (sp?) from the Suns but will be Yao
Duncan with Boozer backing up playing well
Garnett with the Russian AK backing up
Kobe back up by Manu not McGrady!!!
Nash and hard call here, maybe by game 20 Parker might deserve it (Bibby right now?)
